From 1960 to Today
Abdülmecit Modoğlu
With the first step he took in 1960, Abdülmecit Modoğlu laid the foundations of Modoğlu Holding, making commercial integrity and quality service the company's core values.
Founded in 1960 by Abdülmecit Modoğlu, Modoğlu Holding continues to grow with over half a century of experience, a strong corporate structure, and a quality-focused production approach.

Foundation and First Steps
Commercial operations officially began with the "Abdülmecit Modoğlu Müessesesi" founded by Abdülmecit Modoğlu. During this period, the group actively participated in public investments across many provinces of Eastern Anatolia, including schools, disaster housing, bridges, and road construction.
- 1985
Strategic Move to Istanbul
Abdülmecit Modoğlu Müesseseleri entered a new period of growth by relocating its commercial operations to Istanbul. A strong presence was established in the city through construction and contracting projects.
- 1989
Opening of Our First Fuel Station
The group's activities in energy retail began with the opening of our first fuel station at Sultanbeyli Uzundere.
- 1995
Second Fuel Station
Our second station in the Sultanbeyli district was opened, strengthening our presence in fuel retail.
- 2002
Kartal/Yunus Station
Our third station was commissioned in the Yunus neighborhood of Kartal, expanding our service network.
- 2004
Kâğıthane Station
Our service network spread to both sides of the city with our station opened in Kâğıthane on Istanbul's European side.
- 2005
Kartal/Atalar Station
Kartal Atalar station was opened to expand our service network on the Anatolian side.
- 2006
Gebze GOSB Station
Our first investment in an organized industrial zone was carried out at Gebze GOSB.
- 2007
Gebze Şekerpınar and Tepeören Stations
Within the same year, two more new stations were commissioned in the Şekerpınar and Tepeören areas.
- 2010
Sultanbeyli Third Station
The third station in the Sultanbeyli area was commissioned, increasing service density in the district.
- 2015
Entry into the Energy Sector
With the acquisition of the biogas facility in Kırıkkale, the Modoğlu Group entered the energy sector.
- 2018
Growth in Energy through HEPP Investments
A major leap in energy investments was achieved with the acquisition of the Suçatı, Karaçay, Kuzuculuk, and Değirmendere hydroelectric power plants from the Privatization Administration.
- 2019
Opening of Ankara Güdül and Haymana Stations
Two stations in the capital — in the Güdül and Haymana regions — were commissioned.
- 2020
Pendik/Tavşantepe Station
Our station in the Pendik Tavşantepe area on Istanbul's Anatolian side was commissioned.
- 2022
Station Investments in the Çanakkale Region
Two fuel stations and rest facilities on the Çanakkale Highway were commissioned, and our Çanakkale Bolayır station also began operations within the same year.
- 2024
Pendik/Kavakpınar Station
With the new station opened in the Kavakpınar area of Pendik, our service network in Istanbul expanded even further.
